The durable 2x320 denier textured nylon shell features a Teflon® protective finish and is combined with waterproof, breathable Oxford nylon and Heavy Dobby panels for added weather protection. Choko's Weather-Tec Plus System pairs 450g Northern fleece with 200g Feather-Touch polyfill for dependable insulation, while the sleeves and chest feature a Technoloft dual polyfill system with DuPont® Thermolite Micro.

The built-in Wind Shield Vest provides added wind protection while allowing the jacket to remain partially unzipped in milder conditions. A Northern Fleece-lined adjustable collar with knit back-draft protector, waterproof outer shell pockets, reflective trim, adjustable cuffs with Lycra® inner cuffs and thumb locks, articulated elbows, an adjustable wind-stopper cord, multiple interior pockets, and a wind-guard cummerbund add comfort and functionality for winter use. Durable YKK® zippers and a concealed back safety flap complete the jacket.
